The Route
You don't need a motorcycle license to reach one of Croatia's most famous waterfalls. A 125cc scooter, rentable in Split with a standard car license, gets you to Krka National Park in under two hours — no highway required.
From Split, take the coastal road north through Trogir and Šibenik, then follow signs inland to the Skradinski Buk entrance. The road is smooth and scenic, running alongside the Krka river valley for the final stretch.
Why Ride Instead of Drive
Parking at Krka fills up fast in summer — arriving by scooter means you park closer, skip the car queues at the entrance, and can leave whenever you want instead of waiting for a shuttle bus back to a distant lot.
The main attraction is the Skradinski Buk waterfalls, swimmable in season, reached via wooden boardwalks through the forest. Šibenik old town makes a great stop on the way back.
Practical Notes
Entry tickets are bought at the park and aren't included in your scooter rental. Bring a swimsuit if visiting outside restricted swimming periods.
Round trip riding time runs roughly 3.5–4 hours, plus park time. Rent your scooter with Moto Andro in Split — helmets and a phone holder included.
